How to Request a Policy Change or Cancel Coverage

Requesting a Coverage Change

You can request changes to your policy online or by email:

Online:

  1. Select your policy and click “Request Policy Change.”

  2. Assurant will review your request and process it within 3–5 business days. Any approved changes will then be reflected on the site.

By Email:


Send your request to [email protected]. Be sure to include:

  • Your name

  • Address

  • Policy number

  • Policy type

  • Type of modification you wish to make


Canceling Coverage

Assurant values your business and regrets that you are considering cancellation.

To cancel your policy, please call 1-800-432-8612 to discuss your request with a representative.
